Somos21 and the Chilean Australian Association (CASA) Enter Partnership
Somos21 and the Chilean Australian Association (CASA) enter a partnership to promote content and initiatives with added value and mutual interest, particularly internships or project opportunities for their members.
CASA’s main purpose is to become a reference point in promoting the cultural and patrimonial riches of Chile among the younger generations of Chileans in Australia, particularly in New South Wales (NSW) and in Australian society, by promoting synergies between the various cultural efforts of Chilean and Australian institutions.
By doing this, CASA aims to promote the cultural wealth of Chile within Australian society and to serve as a bridge in the dialogue between it and the Chilean community. In addition, it looks to promote the cultural heritage of Chile among present and future generations of Australian-Chileans.
“This coalition among both entities will increment the opportunities and communications for the Latin community, members of Somos21 and CASA residing in Australia,” Jorge Houdely, Secretary / Director of CASA, said.
Patricio Aylwin, Somos21 Partnerships Director, said that the agreement represents a “very important step in building a strong environment of collaboration with other organisations that showcase the cultural richness and diversity of Latin Americans in Australia.”
