Queensland announces ban on straws, cutlery and single-use plastics

The Queensland Government launched a plastic pollution reduction plan, which proposes a ban on the supply of straws, cutlery and plastic dishes. The state government also plans to potentially extend the ban on the use of coffee cups, plastic cups and shopping bags.
